I first met Jade and Ali at a styled shoot in Auckland when they modelled for me. Fast forward a couple of years and it was my absolute pleasure to photograph their actual big day.
Jade and Ali had a cultural ceremony a Mahar at Markovina Estate in Kumeu Auckland, Markovina was decorated beautifully in Gold and White with rustic accents. The guests especially Jade and Ali’s immediate family were all dressed in cultural dresses which looked stunning against the spring backdrop of Markovina Estates gardens.
Ali and Jade chose to have a first look at home and then arrive together at Markovina before their ceremony. After the ceremony we headed into the gardens for some photos, before coming back to the reception for and outfit change and much dancing, drumming and celebrations……
